The client is a former furniture maker and his wife is an Interior Designer in Tucson at Celaya Soloway Interiors. The client is a true artisan and
self proclaimed “wood guy” so when it came to his backyard it had to be a wood product, no composites. He was also looking for a product that
didn’t have a bunch of harsh chemicals and a product that would be easy to work with instead of choosing IPE which is more difficult to cut.
Kebony fit all of his criteria. He built the raised decking himself and applied Cutek Colortones in the shade cedar to maintain the dark appearance
under the harsh Arizona sun. They love how the product feels underfoot and even said “it’s been in the scortching sun all summer and it still feels
like silk when we walk on it with bare feet.”
