The interior design of this unique new family home was focused on minimalisms, functionality and modern aesthetics.

The creative, sleek kitchen design as well as the meticulous interior finishing and craftsmanship elevate this family home to its optimum design potential. Decospan’s luxurious Shinnoki Desert Oak was used in the kitchen cabinets and Shinnoki Milk Oak in the dining room for the built-in credenza, the powder room, the master ensuite and children’s bathroom. The designer of this contemporary home is Sarah Desaulniers Owner and Principal Interior Designer of Moor Design of West Vancouver. Sarah tells us that “Shinnoki panels were recommended both by my Hardwoods Specification Rep Joanne Gislason and by my millworker. Our millworker, who does high-end luxury homes, said that it’s the best product to use if I wanted an outstanding final look. Now seeing the finished product I 100% agree and the millwork in this home is generating many inquiries. The Shinnoki veneers are beautiful and I’ve never seen a product similar in grain and coloring. I’m so happy with how the project turned out and I’m excited to use the new Shinnoki colors in future projects. “
